The department is responsible for teaching Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Humanities subjects. The Department of Applied Science nurtures first year students to develop solid foundation for studying the core technical subjects. The department boasts of well equipped Physics & Chemistry laboratories having all important equipments as flame Photometer, Spectrophotometer, Red-Wood Viscometer, Hall Co-efficient Apparatus, Michelson Interfero Meter etc. so that students can understand and perform all the experiments prescribed in the curriculum.
