Haryana State Counseling Society, Punchkula has sponsored a "Scholarship Scheme" under the aegis of "Sir M. Vishvesvariya Scholarship" in which a sum of Rs. 40000/- per student per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less is to be paid to the topper of each branch subject to following conditions:
1.The scheme is for Bonafide Haryana Residents only.
2.The candidate should have been admitted in B.E. Course through Central Counseling only.
3.The scholarship shall be continued only if the student passes 1st/ 2nd Semester Examinations at the time of Regular 2nd Semester Examination and thereafter he/she should pass every semester regularly in 1st division.
4.Such students should not be involved in any type of indiscipline or unfair means in the institution.
5.Scholarship shall be provided for normal duration of the course only.
Guru Harkrishan Society, Chandigarh has invited application for grant of Scholarships to the needy students with the following eligibility criteria:
1.Students with a minimum of 60% marks in the previous examination can apply.
2.Income of the parents of the student (both father and mother) should not exceed Rs. 10000/- per month. (Exclusive H.R.A. and Medical Allowance).
3.Students should not be in receipt of scholarship from any other source.
Some of the members of the management have started scholarships for the students whose performance in the academic subjects exemplary. Name of the members who have given scholarships for the session 2008-09 of Rs. 5000/- are as under:
